Winwick Res 2 Parklands Res 6
PARKLANDS continue to sit proudly atop reserve division three with another display of character.
Without a regular keeper, the side had to draw straws resulting in the smallest man in the squad, Kev Roberts, being the chosen one.
Man of the match, Craig Tillet, showed work ethic and enthusiasm pays, with two well-taken goals. Mark Stanton yet again showed his class up front with another two goals.
Winwick battled but Parklands were too much in the end, with veteran Hilton showing he's still got what it takes with a fine finish.
The game was over when Chris Nicholls slotted home to brush past the Warrington side.
Parklands Res travel to Daten 4th on Saturday in a potential title decider (kick-off 2.30pm).
