CREWE and Nantwich RUFC need maximum points out of five consecutive home games to keep their promotion dream alive.
Recent stutters in their South Lancs and Cheshire Division Two campaign have seen the third-placed side lose ground with their rivals capitalising and enjoying games in hand.
Although they'll still depend on results going their way, Crewe have five home games on the trot now to turn the tide in their favour.
And the majority of them are against their promotion rivals.
They also have that Thwaites Cheshire Plate semi-final against Wirral to look forward to on March 22.
With Internationals meaning no league action last weekend, Crewe geared up for the run-in by sending 'A' and 'B' sides to Congleton where they won 31-7 and 74-12.
Fourth-placed Bowdon are first up at Willaston, this Saturday, KO 2.30pm.
