I HAVE just returned from what I thought was going to be a nice walk through Murdishaw valley.

I had invited a friend up from Liverpool to stay the weekend and I thought the valley would be a safe bet for a walk.

The part of Murdishaw where I live is awash with litter and bad workmanship from the housing association contractors, especially when it comes to the hedge cutting.

Back in October the council had been in the valley and cleaned up all the tipping and mess off the slopes that had been dumped there by the local scum.

So with the valley clean this was the place to walk and show off my bit of Runcorn.

However, my nice walk was soon turned into shame as my friend brought my attention to the fly tipping, which is now back on the slopes in the valley. Beds, furniture, bin bags of rubbish, you name it it's there, a complete mess and an embarrassment.

So thanks to everyone who fly tips in and around the valley.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.
