BIDDULPH Vics made it three wins in a row on Saturday with two excellent away victories in four days.

The Vics came from behind at Stafford Town on Saturday to score a 3-2 victory on the back of some fine defending.

The victory followed a 2-1 success in mid-week at Causeway United, Wilson-Cunningham scoring both goals.

The Vics made a bright start on Saturday, but Stafford took the lead following a corner.

Barlow rose to head clear, but the ball found McMahon, who made no mistake with his shot.

Callan went through two minutes later but shot over, and the Vics drew level two minutes later.

Wilson-Cunningham found Adam Beasley, who raced into the box before firing home.

The Vics took a 2-1 lead on 21 minutes when Pestridge played a long ball for Callan to run onto, and he slammed it home.

Stafford drew level seven minutes before half-time when the ball was cleared through the middle.

The Vics put up little challenge, and McMahon latched onto the ball to score.

The Vics scored the winner 10 minutes into the second half when Barlow hit a free kick to the near post.

The Stafford keeper parried the ball into the path of Pestridge, who pounced to hit his side's third.

The Vics took the lead at Causeway on 18 minutes following a break on the right.

Adam Beasley's cross hit a Causeway player, but Wilson-Cunningham pounced on the loose ball to score.

Wilson-Cunningham wasted another chance when he shot at the keeper, and Adam Beasley saw a shot well saved just before the break.

Causeway equalised five minutes into the second half when Southwick raced through unchallenged to score from close range.

Wilson-Cunningham hit a superb winner on 73 minutes when he evaded three challenges before hammering a shot into the top corner.

The Vics are at home to Stratford Town tomorrow.
