A UNIVERSITY student is asking people in Westbrook to help with a research project on the fear of crime.
Nineteen-year-old Stephanie Burness, of Shipton Close, is studying sociology and cultural studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, and for her second year project she has to find out why people in her area are afraid of crime.
The former Great Sankey High School pupil is asking local people to contact her with their experiences of crime, whether it is car break-ins or burglaries, muggings or violent attacks, and how they try to prevent being a victim again.
To contact Stephanie, call 07710 768630, or e-mail steampoint@aol.com
