LITTLE bookworms at a Burtonwood primary school have been reading about God as part of the school's religious education inspection.
St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School, on Milnthorpe Road, was named in the country's top 600 schools last week for Ofsted inspections, and the children enjoyed a visit from Warrington's director of education, Malcolm Roxburgh.
As a church school, staff are also required to undergo a religious education inspection, and teaching at the school has been described as "very good".
The pupils also spend two weeks of each academic year looking at other faiths, as part of their multi-faith project, and after focusing on Judaism they are looking forward to working on the Muslim faith.
