WARRINGTON Wolves will start their Senior Academy Under 21s Championship at home to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Wednesday and some Super League squad men are expected to be on show.
Half backs Jamie Durbin and Gary Hulse, prop forward Mike Callan and winger Dean Gaskell - all pushing for first team spots - are expected to be given a run out in the 7.30pm kick-off at Wilderspool.
Tuesday's planned friendly against St. Helens was called off due to a frozen pitch and will not be rescheduled.
The under 21s, being coached by Dr. Graham Scott and John Thursfield, did play on Thursday against Widnes Vikings.
Warrington's new team took time to find their feet and after trailing 30-6 at half-time, reduced the arrears to 34-28 by full-time.
The Brian Bevan Stand will be open to supporters for home games with season ticket holders gaining free entry if they show their book, otherwise entry is £2 for adults and £1 concessions.
