PENKETH and Great Sankey residents are being invited to the February meeting of the Sankey Canal Restoration Society.
The event takes place at St Mary's Club, Blackbrook on February 27 and begins at 7.30pm, when there will be a talk by Walter Carney on The Gerard Family.
Members of the society are being encouraged to bring visitors along to the meeting so as many people as possible will attend.
