Mrs Maureen Brocklehurst, wife of the late Mr Harry Brocklehurst, died on December 29 of acute congestive cardiac failure. She was 60.
Mrs Brocklehurst, of Slater Street, Latchford, was born in Lymm and lived in Warrington all her life. She was employed as a kitchen porter at the Old Vicarage Hotel, Stretton, for 20 years.
In her younger days she enjoyed morris dancing and acrobatics, later enjoying ballroom dancing, where she met her late husband, holidaying in Anglesey, days out, and spending time with her family. She leaves seven children, seven grandchildren, a sister and two brothers.
A service was held on January 6 at St Matthew's Church, Stretton, prior to interment at St Mary's Church, Lymm. The Rev Geoff Buchan officiated.
