RYFIELDS turned the formbook on its head to pick up their first points of the season in Warrington Sunday Soccer League Division Two.

They thrashed Culcheth 5-1 away from home.

Causeway took a share of the spoils with Monk Sports courtesy of goals by Neil O'Dwyer, Richard Hill and John Ellis while Judell beat FC Crosfields on the back of a Kevin McDonough strike.

Watchy FC banged in six goals against an out-of-sorts Racing Rovers side. James Patrick Philips, James Chadwick, Colin Jenkins, Ian Murray and Mark Daly were the men on target for Watchy.

Carl Stenson and Alan Punk replied for Rovers.

In Division One, Bath Springs had four-goal hero Craig Jones Jnr and Robbie Humphries to thank for their 5-1 victory over Pennine.

Title challengers Matthiola suffered a surprise home defeat at the hands of Greenall Walkers.

Chris Golly, Dave Morgan and Stuart Wellstead netted in Matthiola's 4-3 defeat.

Lowly Moorfield won only their second game of the season at the expense of Commercial.

Their goal scorers were Danny Moneypenny and Andy Condron.

Pierpoints suffered their third defeat on the spin, losing 3-2 to Hounds and Hare.

Danny Glass and Chris Peers were the players on the score sheet for Pierpoints.

In Division Three, Gas Social edged out Farmers Arms, who missed a penalty, 2-1.

Gas were indebted to goals by Michael Tickle and Dave Taylor.

Dog and Dart recorded the biggest win of the week, finding the net on eight occasions against Seven Woods.

Dog's goals were scored by Matt Coley, three, Ste Bradbury, two, Jeremy Glover, two and Phil Knowles.

Spa Brook lost their first home game for two years.

They were beaten 3-0 by FC Royal, whose goals came courtesy of Phil Brake, two and Willy Edwards.

Wilkies defeated Red Lion 5-3. Dominic Elliot banged in four goals and Simon Stone also scored.

In Division Four, table toppers knocked King and Queen for six.

Their goal scorers were Dave Yardley, four, Ian Williams and Paul Daniels.

Wolf Pack drew 2-2 with Church Green.

George Dickinson and James Scott netted for Wolf Pack.
