Upbeat and uplifting, Light and Day is the third single to be released from the Spree's album 'The Beginning Stages Of.' which was easily a contender for last year's most unusual album.
The band has 25 members, an 11 piece choir and a 14 piece orchestra, all of whom have their own part.
The band dresses up in white gowns that make them look like a spiritual cult but actually all they are passionate about is happiness. Nice, eh?
Tim DeLaughter, the band's front man, drives the lead vocals for the track accompanied as ever by the gospelesque harmonies of the choir.
The group sound like the Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev and the Beach Boys rolled into one kitten-cuddling bundle of fun. Joy to you too!
