A TEENAGER suffered cuts and bruising to his chest when he was beaten up in the town-centre.
Paramedics were called to Duke Street, near the YMCA gym, in the early hours of Saturday morning, February 15, following reports of a fight.
The 16-year-old was taken to Whiston Hospital and treated for his injuries.
In the half hour leading up to finding the victim, the ambulance service were twice called to reported fights on King Street and Duke Street. However, on both occasions there was nobody there.
