SAINTS' Super League opener against Bradford is heading for a sell-out.
Saints had sold more than 7,500 tickets, at the time of the last announcement, for Friday night's game at Knowsley Road and a huge rush was expected throughout the week.
The game, which kicks off at 8pm, has been made an all-ticket affair.
Simon Dawson, Saints' head of marketing and media, said: "If this were boxing it would be billed as the 'ultimate rematch'.
"Bradford came so close to winning Tetley's Grand Final last season and we are expecting a backlash with a very motivated team and a great army of fans following them.
"However, Knowsley Road has become a fortress and the game could go either way and it is a game everyone has wanted to see all winter."
