Darts and dominoes

IN the Jack Anderton Trophy final held at sponsors Huntsman Hotel, Sprayhurst proved too strong for Haydock Social. Social started strong with a three leg win for Ste Jones and Norman Davig in the darts section but Sprayhurst rallied with some good wins, helped along with skipper Dougie Smith and Bob Maleedy finishing off with a clean sheet.

Margaret Barry from St Annes Club has hit the first 180 of the season.

The Wheatsheaf are holding a six hour darts marathon in aid of the National Canine Defence League on May 4 at 2pm. Everyone welcome.
