CRIMES surrounding issues of race, sexuality and prejudice will not be tolerated - that's the message from the Halton Hate Crime Panel.
The panel is made up of members of the community safety team, Cheshire police, the Citizens' Advice Bureau and Halton Primary Care Trust.
They are currently working on a number of initiatives in an effort to reduce the number of offences committed, including co-operating with shop and restaurant owners, who can experience abuse at night.
