MOBBERLEY 61 ALL OUT Over Peover 62 for 4
ON A glorious evening with the brass band playing in the background, Mobberley Juniors entertained Over Peover in the Jones Homes League.
After losing Stennings and Berrisford-Ince early, the Moore brothers staged a mini revival until Sam Moore fell to a brilliant catch from Irlam.
Ashworth (13) and Wain (6) then tried to steady the ship but the lower order batsmen fell cheaply and a total of 61 was never going to be enough.
Mobberley kept going and were rewarded with a quick Peover wicket.
Edwards held a catch and Berrisford-Ince took a catch that was worth the admission fee alone.
But with only four wickets down Peover won in just over 11 overs.
Pick of the Mobberley bowlers was Hudson who took 1 for 1 of two overs.
