CONGLETON 2nd X1 batsman Robert Hart hit 86 on Saturday in a superb display over three hours.
Congleton opened with 211 for five declared at struggling Macclesfield after 48 overs, leaving 52 to bowl out the home side.
Macclesfield put up stubborn resistance to hold out for a draw, ending on 147 for nine in reply.
Hart was supported by 42no from John Thompson, and Tatters took five wickets for 54. Congleton are at home to Hyde tomorrow.
