ALSAGER 1st X1's top order failed to perform on Saturday as their side were thrashed at third-placed Poynton.
Tim Wilson was one of only four players to hit double figures for Alsager, top scoring with just 24.
Poynton opened with 219 for seven off 50 overs, after putting on 107 for the first wicket.
The Poynton openers scored 61 and 67, and Alan Stancliffe was Alsager's leading wicket taker with four for 53 off 13 overs.
Two of Stancliffe's victims were caught and bowled, and James Warrington took two wickets for 69 off 18 overs.
Alsager were bowled out in reply for 92 in 31 overs, losing wickets regularly, the last four going for the addition of just five runs.
Poynton bowler Turner did most of the damage, ending with five wickets for eight runs off eight overs.
Alsager claimed four points, and are at home tomorrow to Cheadle Hulme.
