AWARD-WINNING florist Neil Whitiker dazzled spectators with his fascinating designs.
He staged a demonstration in the restaurant of Halton College.
Neil, of Design Elements in Irlam, won the Teleflorist of the Year in 2000 and travels all over the world.
He was runner-up in the World Championships and won a Gold award at this year's Chelsea Flower Show.
It was the first time he had ever taken part in this prestigious event. He was invited to join a team of top florists to interpret 'opera'.
Neil, said: "We worked all through the night getting our exhibit ready. You get a real buzz.
"It was really really wonderful."
He showed an audience of students and visitors how to create unusual shapes from fresh foliage and flowers.
He gave budding florists plenty of practical tips from his 22 years' expertise.
