YOUNG chefs in Penketh are being challenged to come up with a mouth-watering concoction that could give them the chance of winning a national competition to find Britain's wackiest recipe.
The Wacky Warehouse at the Red Lion pub in Warrington Road is running the competition for children in the area.
Claire Barnes, manager of the pub, said: "We'd like children to let us know how they'd make their recipe and name their weird and wonderful creation."
Entries should be sent to the Red Lion pub, PO Box 211, Manchester, M60 3XS, with the entrant's name, address and age on the back, before Saturday, June 21.
Winners will be notified after Wednesday, June 25.
