POLICE have issued an e-fit in a bid to catch a man who assaulted a resident in Stockton Heath who took objection to him urinating in a front garden.

The incident happened on June 1 when a resident, who has asked not to be named, noticed a man urinating in a garden near London Road in the village.

The resident approached the man and asked him if he was aware that it was an offence to urinate in public.

The resident pursued his attacker, and saw him standing on London Road, with a second, smaller man. Seeing the resident, the attacker knocked him down again and threatened to kill him.

He received a cut, swollen lip and grazed arm.

The attacker was of mixed race, with light skin, aged 25 to 30-years-old, clean shaven, with an athletic build. He was wearing a royal blue T-shirt and shorts.

The second man, who was not involved in the assault, is also aged between 25 and 30 and was wearing a white T-shirt.
