MY I through your column thank Labour Councillor Tom Hargreaves, who although not a councillor for the Sutton and Bold ward, sorted out a problem within the Clock Face area.
Large branches had been chopped off trees and stacked at the side of the pavement near to a bus stop on Clock Face Road.
These were a potential hazard for pensioners and partially sighted people. After being there for a few days, Councillor Hargreaves was alerted to the problem and they were moved within 24 hours.
