THE funeral has taken place of John Cedric Webb, following his death on May 6, aged 64.
He was born in Northwich and had lived there all his life until moving to Hough this year to be near his daughter Gail.
He worked for Cheshire county Council until his retirement in 1997. He was father to Gail and Andrea and partner to Norah.
His hobbies included fishing, bowling and listening to jazz. He was a supporter of Preston North End FC, and he enjoyed spending family time with his daughter Gail.
The service was held at Crewe Crematorium and the Rev Sheila Mitchell officiated.
