A YOUNG actor is making a name for himself after appearing in a Disney cartoon, a radio play and adverts for a top Premiership football club.
Twelve-year-old Joe Lavery is the voice of Rolie in the latest instalment of Walt Disney's 101 Dalmatians and has spent the past two years making recordings that have been zoomed to America via satellite.
The Bridgewater Lower School pupil has also starred in Watcher in the Rye, a play on Radio Four, adverts for Manchester United's museum at the Theatre of Dreams as well as providing the voice for the Haribo boy in their sweet adverts.
Joe's mum, Annette, of Belvoir Road in Stockton Heath, said: "Joe loves acting and really enjoys doing voiceovers.
"He can put his own emphasis on the words once they've given him the script because he's quite confident."
The youngster enjoys following Warrington Wolves and Sale Sharks and he plays rugby for Lymm under 12s.
Joe would like to be an actor when he's older but also has designs on becoming an engineer.
