PARISH councillors are looking at installing a POD in Burtonwood, to help combat the increasing problem of nuisance youths.
PODs are self-contained facilities that provide a meeting place for young people but are not run by youth workers.
The calls for a POD in the village came in response to reports that older residents are too afraid to go out to the shops in the evening because of gangs of congregating youths.
Burtonwood and Westbrook Parish Council will now look into the cost of setting up and maintaining a POD.
