PUPILS at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School in Latchford cooked up a storm last week when they donned chefs' hats and competed in a cooking competition.
The event, which took place last Monday, was part of the school's design and technology activity day, called Design into the Future.
Industry professionals came in to conduct workshops on graphics, engineering and construction, catering and computers.
Pupils tried out their culinary skills in a Ready Steady Cook-style competition and listened to a talk from Sainsbury's representatives on product development.
