WARRINGTON Service Area Rugby League teams' fifth and final round of fixtures will take place on Saturday.

The under 12s and u13s will play host to Barrow Service Area at Victoria Park, Warrington, kick-offs 10.30am.

A trip to Hull beckons for the u14s and u15s teams with games taking place at Hull RUFC's ground.

Each of Warrington's teams lost to St. Helens at the weekend after gaining a clean sweep of victories over Salford the week before.

THIS was a hard fought 'derby' at Victoria Park in which St. Helens only led 6-0 at half-time.

Warrington were unlucky to obtain four injuries in the first five minutes of the second half and had to re-shuffle the team.

Warrington's try was scored by Tom Rigby but St. Helens played some excellent rugby to stretch the lead.

Reid and Brittan were outstanding in the Warrington pack.

St. Helens u13 34

WARRINGTON produced a strangely-muted performance against a well-organised and skilful St Helens outfit and were made to pay the price at Victoria Park.

Warrington were lacking key personnel and were dealt a further blow when the impressive S. Mitchell was forced to retire with a broken arm.

Notable individual contributions by Bate, Walker, Duffy, Dixon and try scorer Vaughan were unable to resume a team effort lacking enthusiasm and aggression.

Team: E. Vaughan; W. Sheen, S. Driscoll, N. Woodward, T. Sephton; L. Duffy, P. Chadwick; L. Bate, H. James, S. Mitchell, D. Brown, M. Smith, A. Dixon. Subs: K. Barnes, A. Pemberton, C. Lee, D. Walker.

A FANTASTIC spectacle of fast and strong Rugby League was produced by two sides who were battling for field position.

Discipline was the enemy of a Warrington side who deserved better.

It was not until the final minute when the game was decided by a penalty kick.

Warrington's tries came from Anthony Rourke, Craig Howard and Nic Payton.

Team: Anthony Rourke; Stephen Fisher, Matthew Blythe, Jake Emmitt, Nic Payton; Craig Howard, Joe Gandy; Ben Mellor, Jonathan Smith, Stephen Moorcroft, Mike Cooper, Mike Walker, Lee Mitchell. Subs: Daniel O'Brien, Keith Rowley, Darren Hill.

Tyrone McCarthy's excellent second half try seemed to have won the game at 12-16 late in the second half but with only minutes remaining St Helens scored a breakaway try to snatch an undeserved victory at Blackbrook.

The score was never more than six points difference throughout and Warrington's two other tries were scored by Paul Reynolds.

Jamie Peasnall took the ball up well while Jack Johnstone provided some elusive runs and Conor Beneke worked hard throughout. Gary Hewitt played a good winger's game.
