WARRINGTON Hockey Club have much to be positive about looking ahead to next season.
Their Appleton-based chairman Chris Darling has accepted a post of director to the newly formed governing body of the sport, England Hockey.
On the pitch, the hockey men will be entering The National HA Trophy and The National Prescot Sevens tournament, a tournament Warrington have won four times previously.
Warrington will be running four men's sides with the first team playing in Northern Division One and the others in the North West League.
Training for next season will start in the first week of August with the first league games to start on September 27. Home games will be played at Great Sankey Leisure Centre.
