POLICE are hunting a man who assaulted a resident in Stockton Heath who took objection to him urinating in a front garden.
The incident happened at 7.40pm, on June 1, when a resident was standing on East Avenue and noticed another man walking into an access road, near London Road.
After the man began to urinate into a garden, the resident approached the man and asked if he was aware that it was an offence to urinate in public.
The man became aggressive and he headbutted the resident after a verbal exchange. The resident fell to his knees as the attacker ran away.
The resident pursued his attacker, and saw him standing on London Road with a second, smaller man. Seeing the resident, the attacker knocked him down again and threatened to kill him.
The resident - who has asked not to be named - received a cut, a swollen lip and grazed arm.
The attacker was of mixed race, with light skin, aged 25 to 30 years old, clean shaven, with an athletic build. He was wearing a royal blue T-shirt and shorts.
The second man, who was not involved in the assault, is also aged between 25 to 30 years old and was wearing a white T-shirt.
Anyone with information should contact Emma Hollidge at Stockton Heath police station on 486275.
