PARISH councillors have been busy beautifying Culcheth and Glazebury in readiness for summer.
Instead of the popular hanging baskets, scotched by borough council red tape, the parish has decided to install planters at both the Millennium Garden, in Culcheth, and Glazebury Garden.
And travellers are also benefiting from a new bus shelter funded by the council, which has been installed at Hurst Mill Lane.
