A TEMPORARY compound for contractors has been ruled unacceptable in green belt Croft.
An inspector believed that installing the compound, near The Mount, Winwick Lane, was "intrusive" and unacceptable in the countryside and could lead to other similar developments.
The inspector dismissed a planning appeal lodged concerning the bid, which was turned down by officers 12 months ago.
