SCOUTS in Birchwood are staging an open day to celebrate their silver anniversary this Saturday.
Members of the 12th Warrington East (1st Birchwood) pack have invited along the Mayor of Warrington and Birchwood West councillor Pauline Nelson, and her consort David Spencer, to mark the occasion.
As reported a fortnight ago, part of the troop, based in Kinsale Drive, Locking Stumps, will be attending a camp in Essex for its 25th birthday.
