Mr Colin Jones, husband of Mrs Josie Jones, died on April 19, aged 62.
Mr Jones, of Lymm, was born in Grappenhall and had lived in Lymm all his life.
He served an apprenticeship with Charters Electrical before working for more than 20 years at Hember Bros, Lymm, and then moved to Dimension Data (formerly GK Electrical) until his retirement.
Mr Jones enjoyed gardening, DIY and spending time with his family.
He loved jazz and was the reeds-man with The Chicago Teddybears Society Jazz Band, who played regularly throughout the north west and at national and international jazz festivals.
He leaves his wife, a son, a daughter, and a baby granddaughter, born in May.
A service was held on April 28 at St Mary's Church, Lymm, followed by cremation at Dunham. The Rev Michael Burgess officiated.
Donations were sent to Cancer Research and in support of North West Jazz.
Arrangements were made by John Burrows & Sons.
