Miss Dorothy Johnstone, daughter of Mrs Iris Johnstone, died on April 23, aged 36.
Miss Johnstone, of Matcham Road, Leytonstone, was born in Warrington and had lived in London for the past 14 years. She was employed working for the Crown Prosecution Service and The Old Bailey during this time.
Miss Johnstone appreciated all kinds of music and enjoyed attending operatic performances, collected CDs, travelled to major cities abroad such as New York, Paris and Amsterdam, and generally enjoyed the city life, shopping and socialising with her friends.
She leaves her mother, a brother and a sister.
A service was held on May 6 at The City of London Cemetery, followed by interment at Aldersbrook Road, Wanstead.
