Mr David Ellison, husband of Mrs Beryl Ellison, died on April 24 of a heart attack. He was 69.
Mr Ellison, of East Avenue, Orford, lived in Warrington all his life.
He was a printer and bookbinder by trade, working at the Co-op, McCorcadale's, David Brockdorf of Lowton, and for the past 15 years at Rylands until retirement.
Mr Ellison enjoyed reading, gardening, DIY, holidays in Scotland and spending time with his family.
He leaves his wife, a son and a sister.
A service was held on May 2 at St Ann's Church, followed by interment at Fox Covert. The Rev Stephen Parish officiated.
Arrangements were by Cheshire Funeral Services.
