BIKE fanatics in Warrington can enjoy a range of cycle-themed events over the next week.
National Cycle Week starts on Saturday, June 14, and to mark the event the town is hosting its own bike week.
A number of events will be taking place throughout the week, including an evening ride into the Cheshire countryside on Monday, June 16, and an afternoon circular ride to Walton Hall on Tuesday, June 17.
There will also be an easy-going cruise through the parks and back lanes of Warrington on Friday, June 20, and the more taxing Cheshire 100-mile ride on Saturday, June 21.
Warrington Borough Council has calculated that more than eight million cycle trips are made every year in the town.
