FOLLOWING on from the success of the previous Arley Hall summer concerts, this year sees another two-night event on Saturday and Sunday July 12 and 13.

Set in the beautiful walled garden of Arley Hall, the regular brass band concert featuring the famous Fodens Richardson Brass Band and Wire Brass will take place as normal on the Sunday preceded on the Saturday by Razzle Dazzle.

Saturday's show sees an evening of scintillating traditional jazz, barbershop and male voice singing with the Chicago Teddybears Society Jazz Band, European Champion Ladies Barbershop Chorus, the Cheshire Chord Company and the award-winning Warrington Male Voice Choir.

This will be the first time the band and both choirs have shared the billing in what promises to be a most attractive combination.

The Cheshire Chord Company was formed back in 1993 and 10 years on, members have earned a tremendous reputation both nationally and internationally for their polished and entertaining routines. As European champions, the company will be keen to live up to their fantastic reputation.

The Chicago Teddybears Society Jazz band will need no introduction, being one of the north west's top traditional jazz bands.

Acclaimed as one of the most entertaining bands in the UK, the teddybears, with a repertoire ranging from Dixieland through to New Orleans mainstream, have thrilled audiences with their exuberance and vitality.

Joining both performers for the first time at Arley Hall will be the award-winning and Warrington's very own Male Voice Choir. As former National Male Voice Choir Champions, the choir has a pedigree second to none and will be certain to contribute singing of the highest calibre.

On the following evening, brass band devotees can enjoy the regular Arley Hall summer brass band concert with a show which captures all that is best in this great British tradition.
