SIX talented youngsters will be taking to the stage next week to dance in the English Youth Ballet's production of The Sleeping Beauty.

The girls are busy rehearsing for the two shows at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool next Friday and Saturday evening after being chosen from more than 250 dancers who auditioned to take part.

Fifteen-year-old Kathryn Cooper, who is a pupil at Lymm High School, will be dancing a lead role as Cinderella in Act Three, and she will be joined by fellow students of Felicia Burns School of Dance Gemma Crowe and Emma Corrie, who are both aged 11.

Woolston Community High School pupil Clair Lees, aged 14, will be dancing the famous role of the bluebird solo in Act Three, after training with the Jenny Brennon School of Dance.

Nicole Tate, aged 17, a pupil at the Anderton School of Dance and 12-year-old Victoria Taylor, who is with the Zenith School of Dance will also be in the two shows.
