EARLESTOWN Cricket Club put in a dominating display against Skelmersdale at the weekend to record their first win of the season.
Skelmersdale were put in to bat first. The visitors made a promising start before opener Leadbetter was caught in the deep off Barron's delivery.
The dismissal sparked a batting collapse. Barron enjoyed a hat-trick on his way to taking eight wickets for 23 runs as Skelmersdale were dismissed for a paltry 56.
Barron was supported by good bowling from Bridgett, 2-5.
In reply, Earlestown reached their target with relative ease.
Lomas and wicketkeeper Foster lost their wickets but good stroke play by Allan and Ashton saw Earlestown home.
