I was really pleased to see Anne Hudson featured in the Guardian and read that the Burtonwood Primary School where she is now head has come out of special measures six months ahead of schedule.
I have known Anne for many years ever since she taught my son at Locking Stumps and she was a big factor in why I became a governor at Brook Acre Primary School.
It was a very tough decision for us to let her go because we knew that we were losing someone very special. She gave Brook Acre many years of excellent service and was an inspiration to all pupils, staff, parents and governors who came in contact with her.
We may have been sad when she left but we would like to wish her and her new school continued success and a very bright future. You have a real treasure in your midst, look after her.
