WHEN, I wonder will our council receive its award for mickey taker of the decade.
At home we currently have a green bin, a brown bin, a blue bag, a black box and last but not least a red and white bag.
All of these items, to help us to recycle refuse. Forgive me if I am wrong, but surely this is the waste disposal department's job.
I take it that when this scheme gets into full flow, there will be redundancies because half of the job is being done for them. Whilst I am fully in favour of recycling, this system is a joke.
Now there are two questions that I would like to ask the council leaders.
1. Now that we are doing part of the cleansing departments work, will there be a reduction in council tax payments?
2. When is the incinerator arriving for my back garden? Then we could go the whole hog and do the lot.
