JOBS galore will be on offer by Asda at their new recruitment centre.
The company is refurbishing a building in Violet Street, Widnes, to train 150 staff for their new £21m store in the town centre.
John Tobin, general store manager, said: "Our first task is to make sure that all the colleagues from the Halebank store are happy with their jobs and hours.
"Once this is achieved we can then start to recruit new people."
The existing 239-strong workforce have been assured their jobs are safe.
Asda has teamed up with Jobcentre Plus to hire new workers.
Construction work on the new Simms Cross store is well under way.
It is expected to open early in September, or possibly August Bank Holiday weekend.
