A SUMMER running event in Winsford has been organised to raise money for the battle against prostate cancer.
The Round Winsford Run was launched last year and proved such a success that Gary Steele and his Leighton Hospital Prostate Cancer Support Group is repeating the event again on Sunday, June 27.
Two categories - four miles for walkers and nine miles for runners - should ensure that anyone can take part and runners can also raise money for the charity of their choice.
The race costs £5 to enter and starts at 10.30am at Winsford Cricket Club at Knights Grange. For more information, call Gary on 01606 861298.
