THERE is an elderly gentleman who lives in Haydock, who because of his persistent enquiry into any wrong doings only brings him rebuke (Give Stan the tickets, Dear Star). Everyone wants an easy life, but in doing so, some things are overlooked.

This elderly gentleman, who does not want to upset anyone, but abhors any form of injustice, will pursue all wrong doers.

The basis of his efforts are directed for the sole purpose of the youth of Haydock. Wouldn't you be frustrated if you chased a goal, only to see it being thwarted at every turn?

This country has always relied on go-getters and Mr Stan Roberts is at the forefront. He ruffles a few feathers at times, but his heart is always in the right place. He will always do a good turn never a bad one.
