WARRINGTON Borough Council has given approval for hanging baskets to be place on streetlights on Smithy Lane, Smithy Brow, Lord Street, Heath Lane and Mustard Lane, in Croft.
Birchwood Town Council will be able to erect and remove the plants but says it cannot water the baskets.
Croft Parish Council has now asked the Borough Council to provide an estimate for watering the baskets.
