SNOOKERS A are the champions of Warrington Snooker League.
They beat their nearest challengers Newton Social 4-3 this week and can not be caught at the top of the Division One table.
Winwick Social suffered a blow to their hopes for honours when they were hammered 7-0 at Richmonds and now the minor places could go to any one of five sides.
Roosters A are close to being crowned champions of Division Two after they won 5-2 at relegated Snookers C. They are six points clear of Alford B.
Rylands A are still in with a shout of runners-up spot after they beat Roosters B 7-0.
St Benedicts topped an excellent season by beating Monk C 5-2 to win Division Three from Woolston C, who beat Kings Club B 5-2 but are nine points behind with one game left.
