BUDDING songwriters could scoop £1,000 worth of Yamaha music gear for themselves and their school or college.

The search is on to find Britain's top young talent.

You could perform at the 2004 Make It Break It awards in front of a celebrity panel of top artists including Chris Martin, Coldplay record producer, Steve Levine, DJS Mark and Lard and concert promoter Harvey Goldsmith.

Entries are now being sought in two age categories, 14-16 and 17-19.

Winners will perform their songs, backed by a band of top session players in front of a capacity audience at LIPA, including record company executives and leading industry figures.

Experts will be on hand to offer advice with a host of seminars and master classes.
