Parklands 3 Beechwood 0
THE home side got off to a perfect start scoring early on with after neat approach play. Both sides fought the elements in a tight first half with Parklands maintaining their one goal advantage at the break. The second half saw Beechwood fail to get a grip of the game and, as with recent games, conceded the vital second midway through the second half. Beechwood looked a shadow of their former selves from then on and soon conceded a third after sloppy play. Beechwood continued to battle and were awarded a penalty only to see a good save from the keeper from the Walsh kick.
