ST Patricks stormed back to the top of the Earlestown Snooker League with a 5-1 win at Golborne Catholic.
Mick Mann lost their only game. Jim Picton provided the opposition.
Bryn Labour moved down to second spot, only one point behind St Patricks, after failing to beat Beer Engine.
Steve Rampling defeated Lee Birchall in the final frame to secure a share of the spoils for Engine.
But the star of the show was Wayne Brown. The Engine ace made a brilliant 57 break in his win against Lee Cunliffe.
Third-placed Newton Social A lost 4-2 to their B team.
Newton Social B had the last three winners. Geoff Walker beat Lee Canning, Alan Cliffe defeated Mark Jermy and Lee Churton overcame Tony Kelly.
J Willmitt inspired Haydock Catholic B to a 5-1 demolition job at Viaduct. He made a break of 60 in his victory over B Cahill.
Haydock Reading Room A recovered from a 2-0 deficit to beat their B team 4-2.
Their winners were Mark Shiels, Mark Thomas, Phil Waters and Colin Roberts.
Haydock Catholic A also won 4-2 this week. They triumphed in the last two frames against Garswood Labour thanks to fine form of Terry Morley and Jeff Jones.
North Ashton drew with Stubshaw Cross Labour and Vicars drew with Bank Street Social Club.
Scott Wall made a superb 95 break for North Ashton, leaving one red and all of the colours on the table, and Vicars had the last two winners against Bank.
Peter Cogan beat Craig Parr and Roland Barnes defeated Dave Barker.
