BEARS made famous by Paddington Bear have returned to Chester Zoo for the first time in 10 years.
Two charismatic spectacled bears have moved into their new home from Poland.
Valentine and Estroltch, two males and the second smallest bears in the world, are an endangered species.
Mike Jordan, curator of birds and mammals, said: "There are now less than 2,500 spectacled bears remaining in the wild as they face threats from habitat loss and hunting. The zoo's mission is to care for endangered species and this is another example of that work."
Visitors can already see the bears exploring their purpose built landscaped enclosure and waterfall. Giraffe team leader Tim Rowlands and his team will be looking after the bears.
